Showers Of Blessings Are Headed Your Way

I heard them tweeting today.
Not on twitter mind you, but right outside my office window. As I peeked out at the snow still fresh on my patio, I heard the birds beckoning spring. Even though it doesn’t feel like it today, I know it is coming, because it always does. Every. Single. Year. I close my eyes and my senses are alive with the memory of springs past.
Just as the cold winter winds cuts through our coat and chills our bones, sometimes the cold and harsh realities of a “winter” life season can leave us feeling as if things will never change.
In the midst of a season of rebellion toward God in the book of Hosea, there are reminders that God is faithfully wooing his people back.
Not only does Hosea 6:3 tell us to know the Lord…it says press on to know Him.
And then, as sure as the dawn…He promises to meet us at our point of need.
